MEET THE TEAM

Originally from Norwalk, CT, Maria played field hockey all four years at Norwalk High School before playing two years of collegiate field hockey at Stonehill College in Easton, MA. She graduated with a Bachelors in Business from Stonehill, a Masters in Accounting from UCONN and currently works as a Certified Public Accountant. Maria currently serves as the Head Coach of Sacred Heart University's Club Field Hockey team. Maria has been coaching with NYFH since 2015 before becoming the Head Director of the program in 2017. 

Originally from Darien, CT, Alex played field hockey at Darien High School and has lived in Norwalk with her husband and two beautiful children since 2009. Alex is currently works as a placement manager full time and has been the head coach of the 1st and 2nd grade clinic since 2017 before becoming Assistant Director in 2022. She is an active member in the Norwalk Community as member of the Norwalk High and Naramake Elementary PTAs and Norwalk High's Football Team Booster Club. 

Originally from Norwalk, CT, Kristen played field hockey all four years at Norwalk High School before attending Susquehanna University where she was a member of the varsity cheerleading squad and Sigma Kappa. She graduated with a Bachelors in Chemistry and is currently the owner of K&B Orthodontic Lab out of Georgetown, CT. Kristen has been with NYFH since 2017. She previously coached Freshman and JV Field Hockey at Norwalk High School for three years before returning to the Youth Program full time this year as Assistant Director. 

Jessica was born and raised in Norwalk CT, and graduated from Norwalk High School class of 2019. She played field hockey throughout the four years of high school starting as a defender and ending as a goalie. Jessica graduated with a BA in Communication Disorders from Scared Heart University in 2023 and is now completing her masters program for Speech-Language- Pathology at Southern CT State University. She is currently the goalie coach for our league and has been coaching for this program since 2019.

Lauren was born and raised in Norwalk CT, and graduated from Norwalk High school class of 2019. She played throughout her four years as a mid-fielder and a senior captain before playing one year of collegiate field hockey at Roger Williams University. Lauren transferred to Sacred Heart University and graduated with a BS in Marketing in 2023. Lauren currently works in Sales and Marketing in Norwalk. Lauren has been coaching with NYFH since 2020.

Born and raised in Norwalk, CT, Hannah graduated from Norwalk High School in 2018, where she played field hockey all four years. She graduated with a Bachelors in Exercise Science from the University of New Hampshire in 2022, and currently works in both Sales and Strength and Conditioning. Hannah played on the first NYFH team back in 2012. She has been coaching with the program since moving back to Norwalk in 2022. 

Originally from Norwalk, CT, Morgan played field hockey all for years at Norwalk High School before attending Keene State College in New Hampshire. She graduated with a degree in teaching and is currently a Special Education Teacher at  Ponus Ridge STRAM Academy . Morgan loves to spend her summers at Martha's Vineyard and her time home is spent with her sweet golden retrievers. Morgan has been coaching with NYFH since 2018. 

Originally from Norwalk, CT, Autumn started playing field hockey in 3rd grade and played for the Norwalk Youth Program! She went on to play two seasons at Merrimack College but recently transferred to Fairfield University starting her third season of collegiate field hockey. Autumn would like to become a 1st grade teacher once she graduates college!
